Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300 Meters)

When you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal, you will be greeted by our office representative, who will take you to your hotel. After checking in, you will receive a brief introduction about your tour in the evening. Dinner will be provided at the hotel, and you will spend the night there.

Day 02: Kathmandu-Temples Tour-Fly to Nepalgunj.(You Can join from Lucknow to Nepalgunj as well)

After early breakfast at your hotel, we will go for sightseeing in Kathmandu, including the Pashupatinath Temple, the biggest Hindu temple, and Guheshwori Devi. We will have lunch at the hotel and then drive to the domestic terminal of Tribhuvan International Airport. From there, we will fly to Nepalgunj, check in to the hotel, and rest. You will spend the night at the hotel in Nepalgunj.

Day 03: Nepalgunj –Simikot(2900 Meters)-Hilsa(3700 Meters)-Taklakot(3900 Meters)

After an early breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Nepalgunj Airport and take a 45-minute flight to Simikot. From there, we will take a chartered helicopter flight to Hilsa and have lunch at the hotel upon arrival. After lunch, we will cross the Nepal/China border and travel to Taklakot by Chinese bus. You will spend the night at a hotel in Taklakot.

Day 04: Taklakot-Free Day for Acclimatization.

Acclimatization is an important process to adjust to the high altitude and prevent altitude sickness. Therefore, we will take it easy and explore Taklakot City to get familiar with the local culture and surroundings. You can also use this day to rest and prepare for the upcoming trekking adventure. The guest house in Taklakot will provide you with comfortable accommodation for the night.

Day 05: Taklakot to Mansarovar (4558 Meters, 120 Km, 03 Hours Drive)

After breakfast, we will drive to Mansarovar Lake, which is a special day as you will have the opportunity to see the Holy Mt. Kailash and Mansarovar Lake. We will provide you with a packed lunch during the journey, and you will have the chance to take a parikrama (circumambulation) of Mansarovar Lake by bus. You will spend the night at a guest house in Mansarovar.

Day 06: Manasarovar to Darchen (4575 Meters- 40 Km , 01 Hour Drive)

In the morning, we will have a special Puja (worship) and take a bath in the holy waters of Manasarovar Lake. We will find a special spot to take a dip in the lake and perform puja of Lord Shiva. After that, we will drive to Darchen and spend the night at a hotel there.

Day 07: Darchen to Yamadwar and Trek to Derapuk (4900 Meters –12 Km, 05-06 Hours Trek)

After an early breakfast, we will drive to Tarboche Yamdwar for darshan (visit) and begin the Parikrama (circumambulation) of Mount Kailash. If you do not wish to do the parikrama, you can return to Darchen after the puja at Yamdwar. The parikrama is approximately 12 km and will take around 5 to 6 hours. We will provide you with a packed lunch during the journey. You will spend the night at a guest house in Derapuk.

Day 08: Derapuk to Zuthulpuk via Drolma La Pass (4760m Meters, 22 Km, 8-9 hours Trek).

Today will be the toughest and holiest day of your pilgrimage trip, so we will wake up very early in the morning and have breakfast before starting our trek. We will have to cross the Dolma-La pass, which is at an altitude of 18,600 feet, between two valleys. To reach the Shiva sthal, we will have to cross the Yamasthal, which symbolizes death. Pilgrims leave behind old clothes, hair, or a drop of blood in the hope that Yamraja, the master of death, will take notice and allow them to pass Dolma-La in spirit. After crossing Dolma-La, we will descend steeply to reach the banks of the Lham-chu Khir River and follow it until we reach the Khando Sangam La, facing the eastern side of Mt. Kailash. Eventually, we will arrive at the village of Zuthulpuk, and we will provide a packed lunch during the journey. Dinner will be provided at the guest house, where you will spend the night.

Day 09: End Kailash Kora. Drive back to Taklakot .

After having an early breakfast at the guest house, we will explore the caves and temples around the Milarepa cave. Then, we will take a 3-hour walk to complete our Kailash Parikrama and drive back to Darchen. We will have lunch in Darchen and then drive back to Taklakot where we will spend the night at the guest house.
